ART SOCIETY
Art Social September 2026
Popular, local art tutor and member, Ria Cornall came along to this session and gave lots of useful drawing tips and advice. There were different still-life arrangements and a range of objects (including those brought along by Ria) for people to draw, in whatever medium they felt comfortable with. There was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and as usual, there was time for tea and biscuits and a chance to catch up with fellow members, and welcome a few new members.
There were just four entries in the 'paint a photo' challenge - all very different, but effective, as you can see below.
Art Social July 2026
A small group of dedicated members turned up to this session. Some worked on their own projects - painting cats, or trying out ideas for a campaign to save a coastal region under threat.
The others worked on this 'kitchen cupboard' still-life. And of course, there was plenty of time for a cup of tea or coffee and 'arty chat'!
