Art Social March 2026

This was a lively, well-attended session. Some members painted or sketched the still life arrangements and others chose to work on their own projects.  All were encouraged to add their own contribution to a concertina sketchbook, in whatever medium or style they liked.  Several were reluctant, at first, to have a go - but eventually everyone joined in and maybe even enjoyed it!  The 'painting from a photo' challenge this time, was Willy Lott's Cottage (as seen in Constable's 'The Hay Wain') and the results brought along, which you can see below, were fantastic!  It was good to get together in a relaxed setting, have a chat and look at one another's work.
